12/30/2003 OK, so I've known for a while that I suck at taking miniature pics and I had quite a few auction winners email me how minis look way better in real life than on photos. Well tonight a buyer was wondering how tall werewolf mini currently on auction is compared to regular Bloodbowl minis so I took pic for him next to a human psyker for reference. Since it was a just size reference pic I rotated one of my painting lights in the direction of display shelf, turned all camera settings back to auto and snapped a pic without even bothering to use a tripod. So why is it then that pic taken in such a way (on right) looks better and more focused than my painfully arranged auction pic (left)? ROFL

12/3/2003 I have plagiarized... myself :) Customer recently missed bidding on one of my templar knights, and since he really liked that fig I painted him a twin as commission work. Fairly close, though I can see few differences... upper one was auctioned, lower was comission - Twin Templars

11/27/2003 I put couple more DnD plastic minis up on ebay (Half-Orc Fighter and Tiefling Captain), think those will be my last Harbinger repaints. Anyways, I thought it would be neat to compare before and after, but I couldn't manage to get a good pic of tiefling that showed tattoos appropriatelly :/ - Before and After half-orc, Before and After tiefling.
